The less said about todays performance the better - woeful springs to mind. There were flashes of brilliance but they simply faded. Hayes had taken the lead early with some reasonable passing play but then play went down hill. New keeper Kieran Smith must have wondered who he had signed for as poor defending left him open wide on too many occasions. Bromsgrove used the width of the pitch to draw defenders out of the middle leaving gaping holes through which to pop the ball into the back of the net. Hayes goals came from a Jon Austin penalty and an inspired Hayden Nash. All credit to Bromsgrove who showed good discipline and deservedly ran out winners.
